Welcome to my website! I’m J.P. Mora, Associate Broker for Coldwell Banker Legacy.
As a Realtor, I excel in assisting sellers in negotiating the best price for the sale of their home, and expertly guiding buyers to find their first, next, or “forever” home.
I’m a proud member of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors (GAAR), the New Mexico Association of Realtors (NMAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), as well as being expert in navigating the Southwest Multiple Listing Service database of homes (SWMLS). Most importantly, though, I’m thoroughly connected to the extensive and award-winning Coldwell Banker International Network and all it affords our clients.
Prior to engaging in Real Estate, I spent the bulk of my career in the Hospitality Industry, most recently at two different Relais & Chateaux properties in the Napa Valley, both home to Michelin-Starred restaurants. While in the Napa Valley, I studied under the author of The Wine Bible, Karen MacNeill, at the Rudd School of Professional Wine Studies at the Culinary Institute of America – Greystone, where I was awarded the prestigious Robert Parker Scholarship and eventually attained the title of Certified Wine Professional.
I did my Undergraduate study in Political Science at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where I also worked for the Chair of the Religious Studies Department as Teacher’s Aide.
When not engaging in the fascinating world of Real Estate, I enjoy spending time with my wife and teenage son, hiking the North and South Sandia, watching movies, and hanging out with a certain black cat named Shadow, who rescued us.
On weekends, you can find me on extended runs in the Bosque, enjoying the dense canopy of Cottonwood, the Rio Grande River, and the fascinating sights and sounds of Hawks, Blue Herons, and Wild Geese, among other wildlife.
